Gardai launch murder investigation of 18-yr-old Co. Louth man who was killed on his way to his grandmother’s house





Gardai in Co. Louth have launched a murder investigation into the death of an 18-yr-old man in Dunleer.

We are not publishing the name of the man at this time as it’s understood he has an extensive family who may still not know of the tragedy.

It’s understood but not officially confirmed that something happened to the man on his way from a local chipper to his grandmother’s house.

Tragically, the man’s body was found on land off the Ardee Road in Dunleer by a man who was going for a walk with his dog on Saturday morning around 8am.

Gardai have appealed for witnesses to contact them at Drogheda Garda Station on 041-9874200 or the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11.
