According to reports this morning Gardaí in Dublin are said to be on high alert after authorities in the US have sent them a notice informing them that a dangerous paedophile is due to arrive in the city for a month’s stay.
Sources say the Gardaí have informed by the FBI that the ex-con William J Heyduck, aged 40, will be staying on Amiens Street in Dublin city centre next month.
According to the Irish Sun, Garda stations in Dublin are not the only ones to receive the notice as the notice has been issued to garda stations across the country.
The paper also say a well placed source told them that: “Heyduck has served his time in the US but is someone who could still pose a danger to children and Gardaí aren’t taking any chances.”
Heyduck is considered to be highly dangerous, he was convicted for statutory rape after being caught by authorities when he made a three-hour journey to meet a 15-year-old girl in order to give her ‘lessons’ on sex acts.
