The beautiful weather of the weekend will fade into history this week as temperatures drop and rain returns to the country.
Monday will the beginning of the hangover of the warmest weekend of the year with temperatures slipping to the single digits by nightfall and overcast skies and rain returning.
However, there may be a silver lining as warmer temperatures and sun will return as we approach the last weekend of April.
It is impossible for accurate scientific predictions of weather beyond several days however, the Old Farmer’s Almanac of Ireland is predicting a warm and wet summer for the country.
