Over the past few weeks Ireland and the UK has seen some glorious weather conditions with pretty high temperatures that has prompted us to pull out the summer wardrobe.

The recent good spell has left many of us questioning when it will end, well it seems we don’t have to worry about pulling out the overcoat just yet as forecasters in the UK have said another mini heatwave is on the way.

In what could be the hottest spell yet forecasters across the Irish Sea say the British and Irish Isles will experience yet another hot spell with temperatures expected to reach a sizzling 30C.

According to WeatherAction forecaster Piers Corbyn, the high temperatures and prolonged sunny spell will arrive in mid June as a result of a warm spell sweeping up from Southern Europe.

Speaking to The Express newspaper, Mr Corbyn, said the following: “It is from the second week of the month onwards when we expect to see a return to heatwave conditions, very hot weather is expected over Europe and some of that is going to influence the UK.”

“Temperatures could hit 30C next weekend, so apart from a slightly cooler start and end to the month we expect a blazing June of sunshine and dry weather.”
