Gardai in Co Kilkenny have confirmed this evening that a 1 year old toddler has died following a farming accident earlier this afternoon.
It is understood the infant was instantly killed in the accident after he was struck by farming equipment.
Gardai say they are currently providing counseling assistance for the family, meanwhile The Health and Safety Authority have confirmed that an investigation into the incident has begun.
