A 16-year-old Irish boy is currently in serious condition in hospital following a suspected acid attack in the UK.
According to The Irish Mirrornewspaper, the young Irish teenager was the victim of an attack which occurred in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol, in Monday night.
Police say the teenager sustained potentially life changing injuries in the attack which occurred in a Pizza Express restaurant, off Merlin Road, in the city at approximately 8.45pm on Monday evening.
Although the teenager has been taken to hospital for treatment, it is believed that his injuries are not life-threatening.
Police say no arrests have yet been made but investigations are currently ongoing.
