Irish citizens wishing to work in the US given a major boost as Bill is passed that could see thousands of visas being issued

There was some good news for Irish citizens looking to work in the US as the House of Representatives in Washington have passed a Bill that could see Irish emigrants being able to apply for E-3 visa’s

The news which could see those working in particular fields gain employment in the US comes as over half of the 10,500 visas which are offered to Australian citizen’s to un-used every year.

It is understood that Bill which passed through the House on Wednesday, was given a boost earlier this year as the Irish government agreed to lift some restrictions that prevents US citizens from retiring in Ireland.

The programme could be highly beneficial to Irish citizens as it offers a two year visa for those wishing to work in the US.

Those who recieve their visa could also potentially have their visa renewed indefinitely provided they pass the required US citizenship test.
