Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the machete attack in the Belgian city of the Charleroi on Saturday, in which two female police officers were injured, a news agency affiliated with the terror group has reported.
The horrific attack occurred yesterday afternoon when a man shouted “Allahu Akbar”, meaning “God is greatest” in Arabic, attacked the two women with a machete. He struck both in the face, leaving one seriously injured and the other with minor injuries.
This is the latest attack by ISIS who have stepped up their campaign in central Europe, especially cowardly lone wolf attacks.
