Jungle Book theme for The Late Late Toy Show with over 300 children expected to take part

It is Friday night and the beginning of December and that means the nations favorite TV special The Late Late Toy Show returns to our screens.

In what has been dubbed the biggest ever Toy Show will have plenty for kids and adults alike, with the theme centered on Disney classic; The Jungle Book.

It is believed a total of 320 children from all over Ireland will join host Ryan Tubridy in the festive fun.

The show will also a number of children visiting from: LauraLynn Children’s Hospice; Heart Children Ireland; Our Lady’s Children Hospital, Crumlin; Barretstown and Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.

Speaking about tonight’s show Tubridy said: “I am tremendously excited that we are doing The Jungle Book this year. It’s a great classic, a real family favourite and something which I think everyone can enjoy whether they’re young or old, boy or girl. I may not be the king of the singers but I hope that for a couple of hours tonight people will get a chance to settle down with the family and forget all about their worries and their strife”.

The Late Late Toy Show airs tonight at 9:35pm on RTE One and is live online on the RTE Player to viewers worldwide.
