Landmark ruling: Man found guilty of sexual assaulting girlfriend after stealthing (removing condom) during sex

A German man has been given an eight month suspended sentenced after being found guilty of sexual assault.

The man who is a police officer, was found guilty of sexual assault after he committed an offence known as ‘stealthing’ whilst having consenual sex with his female partner.

According to CNN, the 36-year-old man faced charges after he committed the offence which involves removing a condom during sex without his partners consent.

Although the man who is from Berlin was cleared of rape, he was still found guilty of assault after he removed his condom despite his explicitly requested that he wear one.

The defendant who was also fined €3,000 and ordered to pay €96 for the woman to recieve a STI test, claimed that he removed the condom as he believed it had split.

He also claimed that he didn’t ejaculate whilst having intercourse.

However the woman who immediately called police following the incident said she only knew what had happened when he ejaculated.

The victim also said she feared she may have caught an STI and that’s why she informed police.
