Rock star and controversial celebrity Marilyn Manson had to be rushed to hospital after a mishap during a gig yesterday.
Manson was performing at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York last night when a section of the stage scaffolding collapsed on him about an hour into his set.
The singer spent several minutes trapped before being freed. He was rushed to hospital, where his condition is unknown.
Manson is well known for his theatrical antics and tendency for the macabre while onstage.
His 10th studio album, Heaven Upside Down, is scheduled to be released soon.
