A UK mother of four has been threatened with arrest and barred from leaving the country pending a full police investigation after she posted comments on twitter that may be offensive to transgender people.

Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull posted on twitter that trans-women are “castrated” men and that the transgender rights organization ‘Mermaids’ prays on young gay people and engages in child abuse by encouraging hormone therapy and sexual reassignment surgery for children.

Minshull also tweeted about Mermaids CEO Susie Green taking her 16-year-old to Thailand to have his genitals removed so he could begin living as a woman despite sex change operations being prohibited for children under 18-years-old in the UK.

Mermaids have described the tweets as a targeted hate campaign.

The UK police have been cracking down on ‘wrong think’ and speech deemed offensive for some time now and are dedicating an exorbitant amount of resources to monitoring online commentary.
