Gardaí in North Co Dublin have launched an investigation after a mother of two was the victim of an attempted robbery near Malahide.
According to Dublin Live newspaper, the woman who was walking on Kinsealy Lane with a buggy was left badly shaken after the ruthless thieves tried to take her handbag in a drive by robbery.
Dublin Live say the woman who was walking with her two children aged one and three was approached by two men in a silver/grey car at approximately 12pm on Thursday afternoon.
Although thankfully no one was seriously injured in the terrifying incident, Gardai say the buggy was knocked over in the incident.
They say the woman and the two infants were treated for shock following the incident.
The disgraceful attack comes less than three days after another woman was targeted by drive by thieves on the grounds of Malahide Castle.
