Ray Thomas, one of the founding members of The Moody Blues, has passed away aged 76.
Thomas played the flute and did backing vocals for the band, and also released two solo albums in the 1970s.
He retired as an active member due to health issues back in 2002.
Thomas passed away suddenly at his home in England. The cause of death has not been confirmed.
