Dublin Bus have confirmed they will not re-issue refunds to passengers who overpay with cash.
The latest move which has been heavily criticised comes as the company is pushing ahead with cashless payments.
Under the new system people who over pay in cash will be issued a non-redeemable extra payment receipt.
The system will now see overpaid funds being used to improve its services and will find the Community Spirit Words.
It is expected the new system will begin on September 9th.
