Fancy jetting off to New York to shop for the day? Such erstwhile folly is now becoming a reality, as Norwegian Airlines is launching a same-day shopping flight between Dublin and New York.
The outbound flight will depart from Dublin at 8.30am, arriving at Stewart Airport (95km outside New York) at 10.30am local time.
A bus will then ferry jet-lagged, eager shoppers to the Woodbury Common retail emporium. And after your day’s shopping, you can catch an evening flight back to Dublin.
The somewhat unusual service will commence on April 26.
