Former Olympic boxing champion Katie Taylor will reportedly be given a world title fight this coming November.
The news of Taylor’s possible bout comes ahead of her have her fifth pro fight next month in London, and just four days after her latest triumph over former world-title challenger Milena Kolvea in Manchester.
According to boxing promoter Barry Hearn Taylor is the hottest prospect in women’s boxing and she will be given her shot after she completes a US ring date in the coming months ahead.
Hearn also said he hopes to see the Bray women challenge for a world title in Dublin this November.
Hearn explained: “Yeah, late May or early June,” said Hearn on a likely US ring date.”
“Then she will have July off, come back and box in September, and then box in November for a world title.”
Taylor is to fight next month as part of the undercard of the world heavyweight title clash between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley Stadium.
