Arguably Ireland’s best ever footballer, or at least one of them, the legendary Paul McGrath was interviewed on last night’s Ray D’Arcy Show.
The gently spoken Dubliner spoke about his incredible career which saw 7 great years at Aston Villa and how he became one of the most memorable players for the Republic of Ireland ever.
McGrath helped secure Ireland’s Quarter Final war in the 1990 World Cup along with being man of the match in the opener against Italy in 1994’s World Cup outing in America.
Joined by his three sons and three grandkids, Paul said that life is great, he’s managed to beat his drinking problem and life is good.
What a legend and gentleman Paul McGrath truly is!
