Just when we all thought the now infamous Katy O’Brien abduction storyline on Fair City was to come to a close – it appears the never-ending saga is set to continue, for another few episodes at least.
Fair City fans have been asking all week “when will the Katie O’Brien abduction storyline ever end?” and while it appears that theirs and Katy’s prayers have been answered, it might not be until later in the week as a major Paul and Niamh Brennan storyline will take hold tonight.
While Katy’s abductor, Ciaran, seems to have completely lost the plot (excuse the pun) and is referring to Katy as his sister, Katy had ample opportunity to free herself last week when the garda walked in.
Rumours were rife on social media that tonight was the night we’d all be waiting for – but now it appears that RTE have dashed ours hopes as the Brennan storyline is to take hold when they have a number of arguments leading eventually to a supposed crash into Ciaran’s garage where at long last Katy is said to be freed.
