Save the Eighth: Parents of children with Down Syndrome vow to have their voices heard during the upcoming abortion referendum

Parents of children with Down Syndrome have said they will have their voices heard in the upcoming Eight Amendment referendum.

Following week’s of unsupported arguments parents say they will fight to save the Eight, in order to prevent the future abortion of Down Syndrome babies in Ireland.

The statements come after the save Eight campaign came out in support Down Syndrome babies, by posting a number of Reality of Repeal billboards across the country highlighting statistics as well as condemning the abortion in general as well as the abortion of Down Syndrome babies.

It is understood the campaign group will post a very large number of posters nationwide which will further highlight the argument to save the Eight.
