Well ladies as you may well know child birth can be a draining and extremely painful experience but it is all worth it when you finally get to hold that little bundle joy in your arms for the very first time, however now there is scientific evidence to support your claim when explaining to your other half that Childbirth is a grueling experience.

The research also found that of the women tested they showed evidence of fractures, fluid on the muscle which indicates excessive muscle strain and pelvic muscle tears. The scientific tests also found that the vast majority of women can actually take up to eight months to heal after giving birth.

According to Janis Miller, an associate professor at the U-M School of Nursing “Women with pelvic injuries often feel like something isn’t right, but they don’t understand why and can’t get answers from physicians,” Janis Miller, associate professor at the U-M School of Nursing” “A woman may have bladder problems, and in some cases prolapse of organs if the pelvic muscles are not functioning well enough to hold them in place.” Professor Miller hopes that the latest research will make a number of doctors think twice about post partum recovery saying: “Not all women feel fine after six weeks nor are ready to go back to work.”
