It has come to light that the murder of a 16-year-old boy in London in September, 2015 was allegedly filmed on Snapchat.
Mohamed Dura-Ray, died after being attacked and suffering a single stab wound to the heart on the night of September 14, 2015, however no has yet been brought to justice for the murder.
Although prosecutors were confident of a conviction, the refusal of a witness to testify meant they had to drop their case against the teenagers thought responsible for the death.
His heartbroken mother has said she was informed by friends that his death was filmed on the popular mobile app, which deletes videos sent once they have been watched.
Metropolitan police have warned that knife crime in London continues to steadily increase.
