A partially blind 79 year old pensioner has been sentenced to eight months in prison this week after he was caught with over 280 indecent images of children on four his smartphones.
The sick pensioner named Frederick Cunningham who was sentenced to eight months in prison at Grimsby Court on Monday was bizarrely caught when he attended a local phone shop to seek assistance from staff.
According to Metro.co.uk the paedophile who had a string of previous offences was found to have images on his phone when he rather brazenly asked a staff member at the local Carphone Warehouse in Scunthorpe, how could he find child pornography websites via the voice search command on his phone.
The disturbing incident which occurred in December last year led to his arrest after staff at the store alerted police authorities who later found three other the devices filled with indecent images at his home.
Mr Cunningham who has cataracts was diagnosed partially blind by physicians earlier this year was also placed on the sex offenders list for ten years
