Sydney tragedy: Irishwoman 25-yr-old Cathrina Cahill is due in court tomorrow charged with murdering her fiancé David Walsh




Tragic news emerged from Sydney late last night after 30-yr-old David Walsh died from stab wounds to his neck following some sort of altercation in the Sydney suburb of Padstow.

Irishwoman 25-yr-old Cathrina (Tina) Cahill has been charged with murdering her fiancé David Walsh by stabbing him in the neck.

According to neighbours, a fight break out between several people in the house where the couple were staying.

At approximately 1:20pm Irish time yesterday, emergency services responded to a call at the property where they discovered David Walsh outside the property with stab wounds to his neck.

A 36-yr-old man was also arrested by police but it’s understood he has since been released from custody uncharged.

Paramedics were unable to revive David Walsh and he died a short time later.

David Walsh is said to be from Enniscorthy, Co Wexford and has three daughters.

Tina Cahill will appear in court charged with the Wexford man’s murder late tomorrow Irish time or possibly the very early hours on Monday morning Irish time.

Wexford locals are calling the murder “an absolute tragedy”.
