There was no agreement between Apollo House activists and Simon Coveney, after nearly seven hours of talks.

Occupants of Apollo House have until Wednesday January 11 to vacate the premises, which is owned by a NAMA subsidiary.

However, there is an outstanding list of demands that need to be met before they leave the premises. Among these demands, they are requesting that Minister of Finance, Michael Noonan,  forces NAMA to hand over empty buildings that could be used for social housing.

Both sides remain ‘optimistic’ that an agreement will soon me reached.
