The hardworking men and women at Dublin Fire Brigade were heroes once again yesterday morning after they successfully managed to deliver a baby in a Swords home.
The crew from Swords apparently were first to the scene after the mum to be unexpectedly went into labour.
The unsung heroes successfully helped a number of paramedics bring baby Matilda into the world.
It is understood that both mum and baby are doing fine after Dublin Fire Brigade released the following tweet.
Congrats to baby #Matilda born today on #AustraliaDay with the assistance of our Swords fire & ambulance crew at home. Mum + baby doing well pic.twitter.com/HEWRZtAcUN
