Tonight’s Late Late Show will see Ibrahim Halawa talk about the Muslim Brotherhood protests and 4 years in prison




Tonight’s Late Late Show on RTE is something surely not to be missed. Ireland’s newest crowned celebrity Ibrahim Halawa will be interviewed about his 4 years in prison after the Muslim Brotherhood protests in Cairo in 2013.

Halawa, who got off his charges, was one of 400 people arrested in connection to the protests and there was also said to be an alleged murder plot.

Halawa made international news when alleged footage emerged online of him burning his Irish passport,Ā something Halawa’s family deny.

It’s understood that host Ryan Tubridy will ask 21-yr-old Halawa what life in prison was like. It’s also understood that Halawa will declare an interest in helpingĀ other muslimsĀ still in prison in Egypt.
