Dane Loakman was knocked down on his way to get the school bus in Sallins, Co Kildare on Monday.
The boy was rushed to Naas Hospital yesterday life threatening injuries before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
Tragically Dane’s death was confirmed last evening.
His rothers Coady and Vinny and mother Alison all posted tributes to Dane on Facebook.
Vinny Loakman said simply: “RIP Buddy till we meet again” claiming his brother was the joker of the family.
His mother Alison simply posted a picture of her sons with the words “My World” attached.
