Police in the North have officially begun an investigation this evening following the death of an 11-year-old boy in Co Antrim over the weekend.
It is understood the investigation comes after the young boy was discovered dead at a house in the Queens Avenue area of Newtownabbey, Co Antrim on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking about the incident a PSNI spokesperson said they are unsure about what caused the boy’s death but they say an investigation currently ongoing.
