The PSNI have confirmed this morning that a young boy is in a critical condition in hospital after he apparently came into contact with hazardous material.
It is understood the boy was taken to hospital after he contact with the dangerous material at a bonfire site in Belfast.
Police have since issued a warning to the public urging them to stay away from the site at Glenwood Street, close to the Shankill Road in north Belfast.
Although the boy’s name or age has been released it is believed he is in critical condition.
