Tributes pour in for brave double lung transplant cystic fibrosis patient Aaron O’Leary who sadly passed away aged 13




There was some sad news announced recently as the family of brave cystic fibrosis sufferer Aaron O’Leary confirmed that the young boy has sadly passed away.

The 13 year old, boy who bravely battled the illness by undergoing a double lung transplant at the tender age of 11.

The young boy became to the attentions of the nation back in December 2015, after he underwent at gruelling a six-hour life-saving operation at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.

However despite responding well to the operation and his treatment, sadly Aaron’s condition took a sudden turn for the worse just two weeks ago.

Tragically this week his family announced, Aaron who was honoured for his fight against the illness along with his brother Cian in special ceremony last November, had sadly passed away.

All of our thoughts and prayers are with Aaron’s family at this time.
