The UK’s Home Secretary Amber Rudd has confirmed that the country’s terror threat level has been lowered from ‘critical’ to ‘severe’, though all relevant security agencies remain on high alert.
A ‘severe’ level indicates that further attacks are ‘highly likely’.
Two men have now been arrested in the aftermath of a terror attack that occurred at Parsons Green Tube station on Friday, where 30 people were left with injuries after an improvised explosive device partially detonated inside a Tube carriage.
