The Irish homeless crisis is one of the most diabolical and despicable scandals in the first world.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has openly admitted that the Government’s efforts to tackle homelessness have so far failed.
Recent figures show that homelessness in Ireland has reached an all-time high. Official numbers put the homeless at 9,800, including 4,000 children.
The Taoiseach added that there is no ‘quick-fix solution’ to the problem.
