A woman aged in her 60s has sadly died after she was struck by a vehicle in Co Donegal last night.
Gardai say the woman who was a pedestrian, was struck by a vehicle on the main Buncrana-Clonmany R238 road at approximately 9.45pm on Wednesday night.
Although the woman was quickly rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital, she was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai say an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
