At 6pm on Thursday, Buckingham Palace have announced that Queen Elizabeth has died.
Buckingham Palace had earlier released a statement shortly after 12:30pm today saying that doctors were concerned about Queen Elizabeth’s health.
Her family subsequently rushed to be by her bedside in Balmoral.
The 96-yr-old had met with newly appointed Prime Minister Liz Truss on Tuesday and appeared to be in good spirits, however things drastically changed over the course of the last 48 hours and tonight, the Palace announced the Queen has sadly died.
