Irish health authorities have reported just under 4,600 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 4,570 new infections confirmed in that period of time.
There currently are 622 people across Irish hospitals with severe coronavirus disease. It emerged earlier today that a massive sixty percent of these are fully vaccinated.
