Ireland has no plans to put in place a lockdown for people who are not vaccinated against Covid-19, the Taoiseach said.
Speaking to Navan this afternoon, Micheál Martin said he would watch with interest as Austria implements its lockdown on those who have not received a vaccine.
However, he said Ireland has a vaccination rate of 93% of the adult population, which puts the country in a very different position than Austria, where 65% of people are fully vaccinated.
At the weekend, the Taoiseach said that nothing could be ruled out in relation to restrictions as numbers spiral.
