Legendary actor James Caan has passed away aged 82.
Caan gained world recognition following his portrayal of Sonny Corleone in The Godfather (1972) and Paul Sheldon in Misery (1990), opposite Kathy Bates. Other notable movies include Rollerball (1975), A bridge too far (1977), and Elf (2003).
The cause of death has not been disclosed.
The acclaimed actor was a big supporter of Donald Trump and was well known for his conservative views with friends right across Hollywood and beyond paying tributes to the legend.
