?BREAKING: Rafa Nadal has withdrawn from Wimbledon with an abdominal injury

Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from Wimbledon ahead of his semi-final with Nick Kyrgios, meaning the Australian will get a bye into the men’s singles final.

The Spaniard has an abdominal injury which he was struggling with during his quarter-final victory on Wednesday and it has proved too much for him to continue at SW19.

Rafael Nadal withdrew from Wimbledon this evening ahead of his semi-final with Nick Kyrgios, meaning the Australian will go in the men’s singles final for the first time in his career.

The Spaniard has an abdominal injury he struggled with in Wednesday’s quarter-final win and continuing in SW19 proved too difficult for him.

Meanwhile world number 1 Novak Djokovic will face Britain’s Cameron Norrie tomorrow on centre court to see who’ll meet Kyrgios in the final.
