Ryan Tubridy has announced that he’s leaving his massively paid Late Late Show presenting role at the end of this season.
It’s not yet known whether he was pushed or left of his own volition as RTE has given no further details on his departure.
He’s been in the job since 2009 and has pushed the station’s agenda since then.
Speculation will be rife as to who will replace him as the show’s viewing numbers are said to be floundering.
