A major investigation is underway in the UK after a 13-yr-old boy was stabbed to death in Reading with police believe that he may have been lured to his through a series of Snapchat messages. Oliver Stephens was found stabbed just before 4pm Sunday in Bugs Bottom Fields in Emmer Green, Berkshire, around 500 metres from his home. Paramedics fought to save the boy’s life, but tragically he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four boys and a girl, aged 13 and 14, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder the young boy. Police searched their homes and confiscated their phones and computers. Detectives are now investigating messages posted on Snapchat by the teens hours before the boy’s murder in the park and believe that the boy was lured to his death by the killers using the app to send him messages as to where to meet.
