A 15-yr-old boy, who cannot be named because he is a minor has been brought to the Children’s court today to face a serious charge. The boy has previously appeared in court charged with assault causing harm, attempted robbery and unlawful possession of a knife as a weapon.

The victim, named as Ms. Urantsetseg Tserendorj, a mum and wife, was assaulted at 9.30pm at the CHQ building at Custom House Quay in Dublin as the office cleaner was finishing her shift and going home for the night.

Ms. Tserendorj survived the vicious and callous attack and remained in hospital in a critical condition for two more weeks where she was visited by her family who arrived in from Mongolia. Her husband, also living in Ireland stayed by her bedside during the two weeks.

Sadly, Ms. Tserendorj passed away on 3rd February, two weeks after the attack.
