A man has been arrested with the murder of a 78-year-old widower in Co. Clare.
According to RTE, 32-year-old Thomas Lorigan was brought before Ennis District Court to be charged with the murder of John O’Neill in Lisdoonvarna.
It is reported that the man said “no comment” when he was charged. He has been remanded in custody in Limerick Prison with an order to appear via video link in Ennis District Court next week.
