President Trump has announced he will intervening in the lawsuit taken by the state of Texas and support by at least 10 others, against the swing states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and Wisconsin over their alleged violation of the US constitution in the state elections for president.

President Trump tweeted:
“We will be INTERVENING in the Texas (plus many other states) case. This is the big one. Our Country needs a victory!”

Texas, backed by several other states, is suing the swing states in the Supreme Court, which all went for Biden after halting counting in the middle of the night and suddenly finding hundreds of thousands of ballots to overturn President Trump’s lead.

The suit alleges that the swing states broke the electors clause of the US Constitution in how they conducted their elections in terms of mail-in-vote restrictions and deadline extensions which were passed without the approval of the state legislatures, which is in fact a breach of both state and Federal law.

President Trump later posted:
“We will soon be learning about the word “courage”, and saving our Country. I received hundreds of thousands of legal votes more, in all of the Swing States, than did my opponent. ALL Data taken after the vote says that it was impossible for me to lose, unless FIXED!”

We could learn of a US Supreme Court ruling on this case as early as Friday and a win for Texas could see the states electoral vote being thrown out.

This would mean neither Donald Trump or Joe Biden would acquire the necessary 270 electoral college votes and the issues will be resolved in Congress with each state legislature voting along party lines for the President.

Currently, 27 state legislatures are Republican controlled while 21 are in the hands of the Democrats and two are evenly split
Such an outcome would result in Donald Trump securing a second term as President of the United States.
