A road at Lisbrack , Newtownforbes, Longford, have been closed by forensic investigators following a car crash.
A 19-year-old man has died after his car hit a barrier at around 2:20 this morning.
No other vehicle was involved in the accident but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The body was taking to Mullingar General Hospital.
Witnesses are being asked to come forward by Longford gardai.
