Euro 2016 has topped the list of interest for Irish people this year, according to the most hit google searches.
The Euro popularity is closely followed by Pokemon Go and the late David Bowie.
Donald Trump’s election triumph, Brexit and the Olympics also made the top 10 searches.
Terror attacks in Nice, Dublin Bus Strike action and the 1916 rising were the next most popular searches.
Head of Google’s News Lab, Matt Cooke said: “As ever, our annual Year In Search survey has shown a snapshot of what Ireland cared about in 2016 and the results are fascinating.
“The diversity in the top 10 most trending topics of the year show how which political events have dominated the zeitgeist, how celebrities have touched our hearts and how sport continues to unite us.”
