An Irish version of First Dates is set to air in 2016, and they need single people to take part

Reality TV show First Dates is coming to Ireland. The Channel 4 programme features couples meeting for the first time in a restaurant. The show will air on RTÉ Two in ‘early 2016′ and they are looking for the single people of Ireland to apply to participate.

First Dates has been a huge success since it first aired in the UK back in 2013. The idea is behind it is simple, show two people going on their first date together. The location is yet to be revealed nor has the Irish equivalent of Fred Sirieix, Maître D’ of the Channel 4 First Dates’ restaurant been announced.
