Authorities in Spain, have begun an investigation after a fairground ride came apart injuring 28 people.
According to reports in Spain, the 28 people nine of whom were taken to hospital, were injured after a spinning wheel ride fell apart.
Although it is not yet known what caused the incident which occurred in the town of San Jose La Rinconada, near Seville, but authorities believe it may have been caused by an electrical fault.
It is reported that the ride was declared safe following a safety inspection, but investigations are now underway following the incident.
