42-yr-old man accused of flying drone at Dublin Airport gets sent for trial




A man has been sent forward for trial for allegedly flying a drone that interfered with the operation of Dublin Airport, reports Breaking News.

Ainis Guzauskus, 42, is accused of unlawfully and intentionally interfering with the operation of an air navigation facility by flying a DJI Mavic mini 2 drone on July 2nd, 2022.

The father of two appeared at Dublin District Court and denied the charges, reports Breaking News.

The State has completed a book of evidence and served it on the accused in court.

Judge Treasa Kelly granted a return for trial order and sent him forward to the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. The case will be listed for mention on February 22nd, reports Breaking News.
