Authorities have been on the watch out over the festive season and they caught a ship carrying a large number of migrants.
British and French naval forces have intercepted over 70 migrants attempting to cross the English Channel overnight.
It is understood that a number of people required medical attention.
All migrants were taken to a safe location where they will be processed, and later repatriated.
